The GiftsNPurpose Choir Ministry supports the worship planning system of Springfield Baptist Church by:
- Faithfully learning and rehearsing contemporary gospel songs
- Singing with excellence at assigned weekend worship services
- Representing the Springfield Baptist Church with excellence at outside engagements when invited

We believe that through #SINGING contemporary gospel music, we can continue in the GAP Ministry’s efforts to bridge the #GAP and have greater influence and outreach towards the emerging generation.

Brief Ministry History
The #GiftsNPurpose (GNP) choir was formed under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Carl Que Hickerson to help address the spiritual needs of a growing community of young adults attending Springfield Baptist Church (SBC). The choir was appropriately named by Rev. Dr. Carl Que Hickerson as it sought to use their #gifts of music for the #purpose of making disciples.
#GiftsNPurpose made its debut on January 31, 2016 at the South Campus of SBC singing contemporary gospel music. This choir has in short order made a name for itself by singing with passion, energy, and God’s anointing filling the church with praise with each and every song!
The purpose of GNP is to enable its members to use their musical gifts to bring more souls to Christ through song. This choir currently ministers on 4th and 5th Sundays, as well as by invitation and/or direction from Pastor C. Que Hickerson and Music Director, Sis. Tiffeney Williams.
